NEGATIVE PORTRAYAL OF BLACK WOMEN ON REALITY SHOWS

(L-R) Suzie Ketchem, Royce Reed, Tami Roman, Shaunie O'neal, Evelyn Lozada, Jennifer Williams, Meeka Claxton

I have to be honest and say I am a big fan of reality shows such as basketball wives. The drama, fights, laughter and tears are what keeps me tuned in every week. The show has received some backlash from the public about the negative portrayal of black women. Now in my opinion I believe that reality shows that are surrounded by drama are the most popular ones. There have been other shows that portray black women in a positive light that simple do not make it past season one because it's considered to be boring and the ratings at an all time low. The same people who complain about the way black women have been put across on TV are the same ones who watch the show every week. Tami Roman, who stars in basketball wives, recently said in a interview that when filming the editors of the show cut out all the positive things they do like visiting schools to talk to kids and aspects of the business like writing a book.
Say what you want about these ladies because as long as you keep watching the show that means you are supporting it.

Look out for season 4 later on this year and make sure you tune in to Basketball Wives: LA scheduled to premiere on August 29, 2011 on VH1. If you live in the UK then visit my blog to watch the show online as I will upload each episode a few days after it airs in the US.

What is the 'illuminati'?

Over the years I have been hearing about entertainers being associated with the 'Secret Society'. After watching videos posted on youtube I've seen many of these entertainers promoting and endorsing the 'illuminati' brand. This raises the question of whether these entertainers are aware of this being placed in their music videos, lyrics and clothing as some artists are not the ones who edit their videos, write their lyrics or even clothe themselves as they have stylists. However artists like Lil Wayne who's in total control of all areas of his art has heavily promoted and endorsed the illuminati brand. They use these artist to distract us from what's really going on the world and the 'big change' that is to come in the future.
I honestly believe that they have been instructed by the higher ups to promote anything that would be considered as blasphemy such as wearing the 'Jesus Piece' and the devil sign. Success and power would be the reward of this. Entertainers are simply puppets of the illuminati.

What are your thoughts on this?
